Re: Latest automatic up-date PHEV

What is the actual range you are getting now? I haven't driven on all-electric for long since I had the service - as ever, the range depends on the temperature. I was getting around 32 miles out of it last summer on my commute, which was a mix of everything from 70mph dual carriagways to 60mph rura...

Re: 7KW onboard charger?

Interesting! I ordered the 7kW charger for my hybrid hatchback - ordered Feb 22, finally delivered Apr 23, and I was the only one to order that option by the time my car was delivered. It's not helped by the weird way the dealership had to order the car: they got me to log on to the Vauxhall store v...

Re: Ultimate badge

I suspect the cars are delivered to the dealership without the badges on. The previous car I had (a 17-plate Corsa) came with them in a plastic bag, then the dealership had to apply them. I opted not to have the "turbo" badge applied, and it was apparently given to the son of one of the sa...

Re: Latest automatic up-date PHEV

For what it's worth, having got my Ultimate PHEV back after its first service, the software version is now NHW.1.20.80.20. No, I don't know what it was before, but this should - in theory - be up-to-date now. The update reset my driver's information panel layout, and seemed to have reset the battery...

Re: Media, drivers and heads up screens all died

I had the sat nav (left) screen go blank followed by the drives screen whilst I was driving. The car kept driving as normal but without anything on the dash board. After about 10 seconds it all booted back up again and has been OK since. My Astra ST hybrid was new July last year, I guess it must be...

Re: Petrol range rage

I think it's pretty standard - the petrol part of the gauge only seems accurate when you have charge in the battery. I've noticed even when in hybrid mode, with the petrol engine whirring away (and the numbers on the dashboard being in white), the battery still goes down slowly. I guess it still use...

Re: Astra Sports Tourer Specs Question

Only downside is very poor electric range. Has been as low as 13 miles on full charge & even now with warmer temperatures best I have achieved is 19 miles That does seem low. This morning I did a 20-mile round trip, comprising of a mile in a 30 zone, 2 miles in a 40 zone and the rest as a mixtu...

Re: Share order and delivery dates

Badly tbh for me, my dealer has contacted me twice after leaving them messages since I ordered the car, I ordered my Ultimate PHEV in July 22, and have just been told over the last few weeks it should arrive in June at some point according to their computer, well that bloody computer has got it wro...

Re: Ordered an ultimate hybrid? Cough up an extra £390 a year...

I think the point is that deals are honoured - the issue here is that they have to put the list price at the time of registration (not purchase). So the price promise means that the price you buy at is the actual price you pay however at registration the current value is added to the registration d...

Ordered an ultimate hybrid? Cough up an extra £390 a year...

I ordered my new hybrid 14 months ago. Last week I had a phone call, it's arrived at the dealership at long last - could I pop in to sign paperwork. I popped in today, and before signing the registration document saw the list price was quoted as £42000 ish... when it should have been £36500 or so, b...
