Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone had successfully used a USB stick or SSD as an audio input? I've had numerous cars that you can plug media into to play in the car for when you don't want to use your phone. Ive both my personal phone connected via Carplay and my work phone connected via Bluetooth but I don't think that is affecting having another device over the USB-C port.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I have a usb-A stick with an adapter to fit the usb-C socket. It does have to go in the bottom socket. I have to find it in the media to get it to work.

Went to look in the car but only had an 2TB SSD in the car with a big mix of work and media stuff on it but it wasn't supported. Will get a play with other devices later now I know it needs to be in the bottom port.

Was hoping I'd be able to play video in the car as I've done with previous cars but no joy, mp3 only. Does really expand my music options though or if I've poor signal for Spotify

I plugged an MP3 player into one of the usb ports and can use that as one of the media inputs. I can either play music from the phone on Bluetooth or select the MP3 player from the media window.
