Anyone had issues getting into first gear ?

I’ve had a issue when at traffic lights waiting to go, put the car in neutral, when I go to put the car in first gear it often doesn’t go in, then when I go to flick back to neutral again then try again it go it’s smooth as butter, the moment I let off clutch and put in neutral again then go to put in first it doesn’t seem to want to go in easy almost like there’s resistance there, also experienced a crunch noise when sometimes going from first to second, but if I try next time and almost press against the gear stick a certain way with some pressure towards the 2nd gear area it goes in nice without the crunch noise. I’ve got it booked in at the dealer next week, just seeing if anyone else noticed anything like this ?
