Looking into why my Astra L doesnt have the metal plate footrest like the Opel version here:

7:28 - The chap releases the bonnet and we see the chrome plate.

Yeah I thought the same, not sure why it's not on the Vauxhall versions or even if it was removed on the Opels too? To be fair to Vauxhall I don't believe it was ever on the spec sheet to show it, only the pedals
