Infotainment screen always on

Hi,
All my cars in the past had a feature to switch of the big screen on the middle when you don't use it.
I found it that that extra light is for me is quite disturbing during I drive in the night.
I could not figure it out how to switch off the screen when you don't need it.
Anybody found some solution?
